Dr. Kristin P. O’Neil (‘91’) is a proud graduate of the W.D. School System and has been dedicated to the field of education for 25 years with a Bachelor’s Degree from Glassboro State/Rowan College of NJ in Elementary Education/Sociology, a Master’s Degree from Rowan University in Educational Leadership and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Widener University. During her career, she has served others as a Coach, Teacher, Principal, Director/Chief Academic Officer, and now she serves as a school district Superintendent.

In her professional role, Dr. O’Neil has partnered with the NJDOE by: conducting professional development sessions, serving on state committees, and joining members of the NJDOE to represent the state of NJ at the national conference level. Currently, she serves as an adjunct professor for both Rutgers University (Camden) in the Undergraduate Teacher’s Preparation Program and Rider University in both the Doctoral and Graduate Educational Leadership Programs.

Dr. O’Neil is married to W.D. alum, James Greco (‘89’), a proud, retired W.D. Police Officer, and they have three very active children: Cameron, Kyler, and Carter.

Dr. Kristin P. O’Neil feels her PK – 12 public school experience, understanding of and direct involvement with the NJDOE as well as her current collegiate experience brings another important perspective to the Board. She is a voice which supports student learning, student involvement, and the W.D. staff in executing their responsibilities. Dr. O'Neil believes it is important to support the W.D. educational school system to ensure it is run well while ensuring the W.D. School District continues to be mindful of its fiscal responsibility.
