"Building Excellence" Referendum Information


Superintendent's Letter to the Public


In an August 1 open letter, the Superintendent explains the needs of the District, the formation of the District's Long Range Facility Plan and the Board of Education's approved vision for a Referendum Plan. In particular, he explains the importance of taking advantage of the current NJDOE aid programs that will fund 28.5% of the project.

Tax Impact Calculator


Click on the calculator to learn of your average estimated annual Tax Impact from this Referendum by inputting the Assessed Value of your Land & Improvements. See your annual Tax Bill for Assessed Value. The calculator will estimate your average, annual Tax Impact over the 20 years of the Bond using 2014 tax rate information.

Voting


Voting will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at regular voting places including:

4, 6, 11, 12 Green-Fields School
1, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19 Middle School

You must be registered to vote in this election. Information regarding VOTER REGISTRATION can be found at the New Jersey Division of Elections website at http://www.njelections.org/index.html

Voting is a Right, a Privilege, and a Responsibility

Voter Registration


Voting Registration must be completed at least 21 days in advance of the election date. A Voter Registration application is available at the Gloucester County Clerk's office or on line at:

You must be registered to vote by September 9

Vote By Mail


In New Jersey, any qualified and registered voter can now vote by Absentee Ballot for any election, for any reason. Don't feel like going to the polls? Simply vote by mail. Now there is "no excuse" not to vote! You do not have to be absent from the area on Election Day to vote by mail.

An online ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATION is available for you to print and mail now at

The actual Absentee Ballot will be mailed when available.

Now there is
"no excuse"

Senior Property Tax Reimbursement Program


For more information on filing for a Property Tax Reimbursement, or to obtain an application, contact the New Jersey Property Tax Reimbursement Hotline at 1-800-882-6597.
