Amy DeGirolamoAmy DeGirolamo has resided in West Deptford for 10 years with her husband, Lewis. They have three children- Carly (9) and Benjamin (6) who attend Green-Fields Elementary School and Brady who attends Oakview Elementary Pre-School Program. Amy received her B.S. from Penn State and her Master’s degree from the Education Department of Villanova University. Amy is a Certified Secondary School Guidance Counselor and worked as a guidance counselor prior to having children. Currently, Amy stays at home to raise her children and is involved in various service projects and organizations within West Deptford. Amy is a member of the Green-Fields Elementary PTO, the Oakview Elementary PTO, the Junior Woman’s Club of West Deptford, and is also a Girl Scout leader. In addition, Amy also works part-time as a State Certified Psychiatric Consultant for the emergency room at Underwood Memorial Hospital. Amy has been a Board of Education member since April 2009. “The knowledge and experience that I have gained from being on the Board of Education for the past year, along with my personal motivation and strong educational background enables me to be an asset to the Board of Education and the Community of West Deptford. I will listen and advocate for the members of the community on all levels including parents, students, teachers and the tax payer. I wish to provide our children with the best education possible while striving to have our taxes remain stable. I hope that you will provide me the opportunity to continue to serve you on the West Deptford Board of Education.
